I am a proud formerly incarcerated 45 year old women. I have spent the time since I have been home dealing with women who have had trouble in transitioning from jails and prisons to home. I am one of the original members of WORTH, and Tina Reynolds has been a constant mentor in my life. I have a long resume just like any of us, but the thing that resonates in my spirit is women's emotional and mental health after incarceration. I also am the Co Founder of a group called Changing the CD. This is a lesbian based support group that helps couples in duress dealing with tough relationship issues. I also am in school for my Master's Degree in Psychology...my focus is Applied Behvioral Analysis. I connect my studies to my support group and to my work for formerly incarcerated people with the thought that when you change a person's way of thinking, you inevitably change the behavior.
